The lime trees inside the church wall were felled relatively recently. Note the man
working by the further gateway, in the picture below. He seems to be shovelling stones.
Also the elegant lamp immediately inside the gate.
On the left a cart can be made out at the same spot, and the man loading or unloading
stones.

live at Chaffeigh Farm in Thorncombe.
Her uncle John Saunders, of Hillside, Stoney Knapp, is sitting third from right.
