We were recently contacted by Kate Rundle and Alison Griffin, whose mother Margaret Joan Hussey (born 1921) lived at Fernleigh in High Street, Thorncombe. Joan’s parents were Herbert and Susan (known as Auntie Dot), and Herbert was the baker in Chard Street. Kate and Alison sent these photos as well as the one of Wilfred Potter on his page.
